How to Store Wigs Without Crushing the Style

Store wigs clean, dry and protected from friction, dust, sunlight and shape distortion.

Dry completely before storage

Trapped moisture can create odor and material problems. Do not pack a damp wig.

Choose support based on the style

A stand can help preserve a styled shape between wears, while a clean satin or protective bag may be practical for longer-term storage.

Control friction

Keep fibers from rubbing against rough surfaces or snagging on jewelry, closures or other items.

Avoid heat and direct sun

High heat and prolonged sunlight can affect hair, color and cap materials.

Label multiple wigs

If you own several, store them so you can identify texture, length and color without repeatedly unpacking everything.
