How to Wash a Human Hair Wig
Wash a human-hair wig gently while protecting the lace, knots, cap and hair from unnecessary friction.
Detangle first
Remove tangles before soaking so washing does not tighten them.
Use lukewarm water
Avoid very hot water and rough agitation. Let water move through the hair in its natural direction.
Clean gently
Apply suitable shampoo without bunching or scrubbing the lengths together. Rinse thoroughly.
Condition with control
Condition the hair lengths as appropriate while keeping heavy product away from delicate knots or lace unless product instructions allow it.
Dry with minimal friction
Blot rather than twist. Support the wig shape while drying and avoid high heat unless the product's care guidance permits it.
